ASL class and social hour

Are you interested in learning American Sign Language? The East Craftsbury Library is happy to host a FREE 20-week Community ASL Class & Social Hour on Tuesday evenings, 5:30- 6:30 pm.

This class will combine self-paced, online lessons with weekly in-person practice facilitated by Stuart Soboleski and Tiana Baca. We’ll grow our skills week by week and help one another build confidence communicating in ASL! We’ll also explore Deaf culture, history, and community and be joined by Deaf guest presenters.

This program is cumulative and we ask that participants commit to the full set of classes. All ages are welcome. Space is limited. To register, please email jwsimpsonmemorial@gmail.com.

This program is supported by a Spark Connecting Community grant from the Vermont Community Foundation.
