Larry Jones will share a PowerPoint presentation of his recent trip to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.  Until June 4, his daughter has been teaching English to high school students there at a school founded by the King of Jordan.  During her Spring Vacation this year, she guided her parents around Jordan from north to south, visiting Roman ruins, spending a day at Petra, swimming in the Dead Sea (well, floating), and cruising around Wadi Rum, the huge protected desert area where The Martian, Star Wars, and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed and which still is home to Bedouin nomads.  Larry’s presentation will take under an hour and include time for questions.
